With Split View, you can work with two documents from the same app side by side. For example, open two Pages documents at the same time and share content between them—drag and drop or copy-and-paste text, images, tables, and more between documents. You can make a Split View from the document manager in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote, or if you already have a document open.

  1. In Pages, Numbers, or Keynote, open the document manager.
  2. Drag a document from the document manager to the right or left edge of the screen to make a Split View.
  3. Tap another document in the document manager to open it next to the first document.
  4. Once you're in Split View, you can adjust spacing and more:
    • To adjust the spacing of the documents on the screen, drag the divider to the left or right.

Open a second document when one is already open
